Back in August, I took a trip to my hometown of Zamboanga. My grandparents and I stayed at our old house, where we found my Dad's film camera hidden along with some old negatives. He bought the Canon Autoboy SII (alt, Sure Shot Z135) in Japan back in the late 90's and took almost all of my baby photos with it. We spent the next day looking for film until we stumbled upon a roll of expired Fujicolor C200 in a local print shop.
Negatives I tried (and failed) to scan myself. A work in progress, my dudes.

Up until then, I had only ever come across film in my workplace. All it really involved was taking a record of what comes in to be developed, and printing out the scans when they're done. I felt that a reliable point and shoot was a fun way to ease into it. It was also quite portable, always managing to fit, even in a bag packed for the busiest of days.
