Danielle Mendoza (she/her) is a 2D animation generalist and artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland. She makes styleframes, storyboards, directs, hand animates, and occasionally dabbles in 3D animation. Currently making things move at Flux Animation Studio.
Co-director for "Marvin Gaye - Let's Get It On (Official Music Video)." Animation director for "Darkness Follows." Lead 2D animator for "Our Aotearoa." (Best NZ Short Documentary at Oscars qualifying Doc Edge Film Festival 2022). She has worked on series such as Emmy nominated "How NOT to Draw" on Disney+, and "The Legend of Vox Machina" on Amazon Prime.
